Road Trip to Nashville

We have lots of pictures from our recent road trip to Nashville. A charity art event hosted by Mix 93/Nashville featured the art of nationally syndicated host Delilah and brought out the stars, including Robin Meade of Headline News (CNN), Wynona Judd, Dan Hill, Jim Brickman, Ronnie Milsap, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jordan Hill and Jamie O' Neal. The packed room included actors from the movie Twilight, music luminaries Tim McFadden, Rick Monroe, Mike Musick, Callann Lane, Ashley Nemeh, Sarah Marince, Ashley Wilson and Miss Tennessee. The gathering also included McVay Media's Mike McVay, Daniel Anstandig and Jessica McVay. These pictures say it all as the red carpet event was the talk of Nashville on a cold rainy night.

The Stars Come Out in Nashville!

A recent VIP event in Nashville brought out the stars ... including the McVay Media team! Pictured Left-to-Right are Daniel Anstandig (President, McVay New Media), Jessica McVay (Program Coordinator McVay Media & McVay New Media), Wynonna Judd and Mike McVay.

Delilah's Producer Janey was in Skatgit Valley this weekend. Janey is riding 150 miles on her bike for MS.

Delilah's Seattle affiliate (the market where the race took place) KRWM, covered Janey's participation on the air, and was a sponsor of the event to battle Multiple Sclerosis.

WMJC/Long Island PD Jon Daniels celebrates the stations second best EVER rating month since PPM began. Daniels and the staff at the Barnstable station know how to celebrate. Notice "Lucky" the Long Island Duck on his computer. The duck is the long lost cousin of Lucy, Ducky, Donna and Drake. Ducks come from BIG families.

Mike McVay ... the original Puppet Master ... puts words in the mouth of many air talent. Pictured in the role of "the dummy" is Phathead from WMJC/Long Island morning show. He' was a good sport, but we now know HOW Mike sprained his ankle.

The World Famous midday marvel Malibu Sue posed with Mike McVay during his recent visit to Long Island. Sue is generally the most listened to Hot AC talent on Long Island. Sue and Mike pose on the "first day of school" for Sue's twins. She celebrated not having to worry about latch-key-kids by playing "Today's Best Mix" all day.

McVay Media began consulting the PMB owned Columbus, Georgia stations just before the start of the Spring 2009 Arbitron. How I spent my Summer Vacation.

Eric Weiss of The Weiss Agency offered his Cabo San Lucas condo to several of the McVay Team. The huts on the beach house massage tables and the waves provided the "white noise" for total relaxation. Mike McVay recently visited Fort Wayne and celebrated 25 years as consultant to Sarkes-Tarzian radio, owner of WAJI - WLDE, with General Manager Lee Tobin. When McVay first joined the station, Sarkes Tarzian President/Radio Geoff Vargo was the General Manager and Tobin joined as PD shortly after McVay started at the station. McVay's hair was darker, there was no pot belly and the dark circles under his eyes in those days were from working late hours. Today the circles are .... well .... "just because."

Ashley Nemeh, the singer/songwriter, recently visited Kiss/Pittsburgh PD Alex Tear. Alex, the Operations Manager for Clear Channel/Pittsburgh, is heading to Miami for the same position at the legendary Y100 (WHYI) and will also oversee the Clear Channel Cluster. Ashley sends him off in style with this pose.

Bob Neumann, the Operations Manager and PD of WRMF/West Palm Beach, takes time out from his busy broadcast schedule to pose with singer/songwriter Ashley Nemeh. Ms. Nemeh was in South Florida exploring the opportunity to have a hurricane named after her. Hurricane Ashley flew through radio stations and posed for a ton of pictures inside of 6 days.
