The staff at WJKK/Jackson, MS held their holiday party at PD John Anthony's home ... where he was honored with the EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR AWARD. The stations, owned by The Radio People, were voted by the men in the McVay Media offices as having the "Most Attractive Staff" in radio. We guess that saying "A face made for radio" does NOT apply to Gwen Rakestraw (GM) and her team. Merry Christmas!!!

Congrats to the staff & management of our client WSTW/ Wilmington, Delaware. WSTW won the Marconi Award for CHR Station of The Year 2006.
The station was nominated in a category that included KHKS- Dallas, KIIS- Los Angeles, KQKS- Denver and KRBE- Houston. WSTW was the only medium market station nominated and walked away with the award.
Our best wishes and congratulations go to Delmarva Broadcasting President Pete Booker, General Manager Mike Reath, Operations Manager John Wilson and Music Director Mike Rossi.
WSTW deserves the recognition that they receive. We're fortunate to be a part of their team ... and we thank them for that.
John Wilson mentioned McVay Media from the dais as he accepted the award. An act of unselfishness. A class act. Exactly what you would expect from a "class act" like John Wilson. CONGRATULATIONS!
