Legendary DJ Porky Chedwick Broadcasts Live From The Rock Hall



88 Year-old disc jockey Porky Chedwick recently performed his program live from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Mike McVay greeted Porky and his radio co-host Ed Weigle. McVay Media honored Chedwick with a plaque and special recognition for his 50+ years of service to the broadcast community. Chedwick started at WAMO/Pittsburgh (the known as WHOD) on August 1, 1948. Porky, also known as "The Daddio of The Raddio" and "The Boss Man" sponsored two busloads of fans who traveled from Pittsburgh to Cleveland for the special anniversary broadcast.
