Hi from Tulsa! A tribute to cancer stricken PD, Jan Dean, took place last night in Tulsa. Nearly 500 people raised $24,000 for Jan.She is the former PD of KAYI and KMYZ in Tulsa. Many in Tulsa grew up listening to Jan host "Bed Check" on CHR formatted KAYI. Jan's tribute was attended by many radio and TV personalities and programmers. All of Tulsa's radio stations broadcast or participated in the event. Live bands, memories,aughter, tears and lot's of love for Jan.
