Cleveland International Records CEO Steve Popovich (legendary from his discovery and success with Meatloaf and Frankie Yankovich), Rick Scarry (Accomplished actor and former KMET DJ and KGIL PD - both in Los Angeles) and Jimmy Fox (the James in The James Gang - A rock and roll legend) reminiscing ... as old rockers do when they get together. You can bet that they asked each other what the statue of limitations was before they began talking.

Two Actors and a DJ

That could be the headline ... except that the two actors have also been on the radio. Pictured left-to-right are Billy Hufsey (Fame, Days of Our Lives, Married with Children, Confessions of a Teen Idol and more), Rick Scarry (The Office, Bones, Days of Our Lives, Weeds and more) and Mike McVay ... who has been acting like a media consultant for years. McVay and Scarry are veterans of the Los Angeles radio wars in the 70s and 80s. Billy recently performed as a right-wing talk show host for a new TV series. The connection? The three are all Cleveland natives and longtime friends.

3rd Annual Mattress Chuck & Human Dominos

Tony Rose from 100.7 SAM FM in Bowling Green, Ky was the emcee of the 3rd Annual Matress Chuck and World Record Attempt for Human Dominos at Trent Bedding Company. His "chuck" went 32 feet!

Later they set a NEW WORLD RECORD for Human Mattress Dominos with 150 "Dominos." The proceeds from the event went to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to help children who parents are tied up in the local court system get the resources they need to stay ahead in school, home, and day to day life.

Road Trip to Nashville

We have lots of pictures from our recent road trip to Nashville. A charity art event hosted by Mix 93/Nashville featured the art of nationally syndicated host Delilah and brought out the stars, including Robin Meade of Headline News (CNN), Wynona Judd, Dan Hill, Jim Brickman, Ronnie Milsap, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jordan Hill and Jamie O' Neal. The packed room included actors from the movie Twilight, music luminaries Tim McFadden, Rick Monroe, Mike Musick, Callann Lane, Ashley Nemeh, Sarah Marince, Ashley Wilson and Miss Tennessee. The gathering also included McVay Media's Mike McVay, Daniel Anstandig and Jessica McVay. These pictures say it all as the red carpet event was the talk of Nashville on a cold rainy night.

Mike McVay ... the original Puppet Master ... puts words in the mouth of many air talent. Pictured in the role of "the dummy" is Phathead from WMJC/Long Island morning show. He' was a good sport, but we now know HOW Mike sprained his ankle.

The World Famous midday marvel Malibu Sue posed with Mike McVay during his recent visit to Long Island. Sue is generally the most listened to Hot AC talent on Long Island. Sue and Mike pose on the "first day of school" for Sue's twins. She celebrated not having to worry about latch-key-kids by playing "Today's Best Mix" all day.

How I spent my Summer Vacation.

Eric Weiss of The Weiss Agency offered his Cabo San Lucas condo to several of the McVay Team. The huts on the beach house massage tables and the waves provided the "white noise" for total relaxation.
