Tribute to Tulsa PD Jan Dean

Hi from Tulsa! A tribute to cancer stricken PD, Jan Dean, took place last night in Tulsa. Nearly 500 people raised $24,000 for Jan.She is the former PD of KAYI and KMYZ in Tulsa. Many in Tulsa grew up listening to Jan host "Bed Check" on CHR formatted KAYI. Jan's tribute was attended by many radio and TV personalities and programmers. All of Tulsa's radio stations broadcast or participated in the event. Live bands, memories,aughter, tears and lot's of love for Jan.

Barb Richards, PD of WAJI/Fort Wayne, recently gifted Mike McVay with a pair of expensive designer sox. The $75 pair of sox made their way to Beverly Hills with Mike and family over the Easter holiday. Pictured on the balcony of the Regent Beverly-Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.

New Nashville Resident Barry Gibb with T.G. Sheppard

Barry Gibb now calls Nashville his home. He has purchased the Johnny Cash house, and a "Welcome to Nashville" party was attended by 150 people at the BMI offices. T.G. Sheppard and his girlfriend Kelly Lang have become close friends with Barry and his wife. Barry said, "T.G. and Kelly are a part of our family."
